Project for a Communion: favors, placeholders and cake
The project
Today I want to show you what I made for a Communion, some years ago
Placeholder
I made 4 angels with polymer clay (Cernit), similar but with slightly different decoration of clothes, and I used them to create 4 molds in which I casted the number of placeholders needed.
In a round container (I used a plastic ashtray!) I casted the colored ceramite, and when dry, I drilled a hole for the ribbon.
I pasted the angels on the discs.
Favors
With a similar process, I made a front of a church and its mold.
I painted churches in the choosen colors. I packaged the favors with the plastic box and I customized the cards with a stamp-shaped kitten, which I colored to match the wedding favor.
Cake
I made the angels with marzipan and I let them dry. With the fondant I made roses and leaves and let them dry. Then I covered the cake with the fondant and I placed my decorations.
