Before Kodak invented his famous Kodachrome system, some photographers
experimented with different techniques of color photography. Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorski created one of the most interesting system by which,
at the beginning of 1900, shoot three black and white photos of
the subject each with a different colored filter. Then, once converted to "slide", the 3 images were projected with lights of different colors and superimposed.
